About Octavia Cook
Octavia Cook graduated with Bachelor of 3D Design in Jewellery from Unitec Institute of Technology, Auckland in 1999. Since graduating, Cook has exhibited widely in public and dealer galleries nationally and internationally in Australia and the Netherlands. Her works are held in the public collections of several museums and galleries in New Zealand, including the Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland, the Dowse Art Museum, Wellington and Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington. Internationally, her pieces can be found in the collections of Middlesborough Institute of Modern Art, United Kingdom and Museum of Fine Arts Boston, United States of America. An Aucklander by birth, Octavia Cook is currently based in Port Chalmers, Dunedin.
